Here’s a local legend for steaks and seafood. They specialize in Friday Fish Fry and deliver a scrumptious platter of deliciousness. This supper club has a feel of an era from back in time. The decor transports you back to the good old days of great battered and breaded foods. The deep fried mushrooms are some of the best I’ve had and surely taste freshly battered! Being a very popular destination on many nights, but especially Fridays, you’d be best advised to call ahead for reservations so as not to be disappointed by a long wait.

This is a great example of a Wisconsin Supper Club. The service was excellent, we received generous portions, and food was outstanding. I had the pork chop, my wife had the Saturday special, and my daughter had the Sicilian chicken. Whether you're A Hales Corner local or come from afar, this place is worth the trip.

Great food, great service. Diamond Jim's Steakhouse is a quiet little bar/restaurant on the south side of Janesville road, just west of Highway 100 in Hales Corners. This modest establishment opened its doors to me and my friends this past week. Our intentions only to have a nice Friday fish fry, we were pleasantly surprised to become acquainted with their high quality foods and high class hospitality. From the moment you enter, to the time you leave, you are treated like family. We will definitely be going back to Jim's in the future.

Service was courteous but very extremely slow and it was not busy at all. We did not get any bread at all, but they brought out butter for some reason. Price was reasonable. Streak, mushrooms and fries were very good. But 2+ hours is just too long on a Tuesday night. I'll go to the Packing House next time for steak.

Great food and service. I normally only post negative experiences, but in this case I have to make an exception. The calamari was superb, the nest in the area. I had the perch dinner and my wife had the porterhouse steak. The fish was good sized pieced, larger than other restaurants in the area. The porterhouse was huge, thick and delicious, cooked perfectly to the medium my wife asked for.

Great service, food, and people. I was visiting from Chicago and stopped in for dinner always wanted to try a supper club. I had the porter house which was very good, but my friend got the 16 oz filet which was OUTSTANDING! Also, the onion rings are battered and delicious. Only recommendation is the salad dressing are bottled not a fan and they were out of house dressing. lastly, food is priced fair. Can't wait to go back.

Asked about a special that had run awhile back that my wife loved, pecan crusted cod, that was not on the menu this week. Our waitress talked to the chef and they made it for my wife. Big tip for our waitress and a tip for our chef. Wife happy,good night for me😎

A local at another restaurant recommended this place to us and it has a solid menu. The Friday Night Fish Fry is as good as it gets. We never left the bar to eat because the patrons and bartenders were so nice.

Very nice place. The food is very good as is the service. Big portions and reasonably priced. The porterhouse steaks are fantastic.

Called for reservation got there had to wait, 4 people came in after us took them before us and their reservation was 15 mins after ours. Ordered meals brought out a different steak because they ran out of boneless ribeye i got bone in without asking if I wanted it. Wanted medium rare it was well done. Boyfriends scallops were raw. Waitress never checked on us. It was my 50th birthday saw good reviews on yelp.. Horrible! Were told they had a fifty top they were working on. It was horrible! I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Had an amazing Thanksgiving dinner at Diamond Jims! The old fashioned was delish and we followed that up with cheesecake for dessert!

Classic supper club still adhering to the classic dishes. Had the walleye grilled with almonds and served with a salad, potatoes and relish tray, bread. Friendly staff.

Awesome food! We had great drinks, delish bread and butter, salad and house Italian was awesome. Lots of specials to choose from but we all ordered off the reg menu. The only down side if any was it the temperature of the room. Who wants a cold breeze when you order hot soup and a hot steak and potato! Would def come back to try a diff dish.

Had the filet and 3 shrimp with onion rings. Shrimp and onion rings where soggy and cold.filet was chewy and hard to cut. Salad was ok not crispy and delicious. Felt rushed to leave the table. Couldn't linger and enjoy our drinks. My friends had the prime rib. It was hard to cut and tastless. Would not come back.

Each visit has been better than the previous. Very fine casual dining and a great place to take family and friends. I'm looking forward to taking my parents for a meal when they come to visit.

This little supper club surprised me. The steaks are great quality and very reasonably priced. Great cozy feel, good service and great price. Food was amazing, appetizers where great. I will be back here to eat again, and again.

Instead of going on extravagant vacations to other countries or down south or to the westoreast, our family travels to different supper clubs throughout Wisconsin and write down our experience in a hardcover book we got it Barnes & Noble of Wisconsin's best supper clubs! This was a great experience. Definitely must try the old fashioned sweet with olives! And cherries! 🥃🍽🍒🍤🍷

First visit was for a rehearsal dinner, the atmosphere and waitresses were pleasant but not great, they always seemed in a rush and frustrated with us. I ordered a cheeseburger and the patty was good but the bun was incredibly hard, I ended up just eating the patty and fries. Other members of our party had the same experience. The sirloins seemed to be good from everyone that ordered them but each one was cooked inconsistently with some being WAY over done.

Everyone was very friendly. The old fashioned was very good, and our meal was excellent. Service was great. Would definitely go back again.

Excellent service from the time we called for last minute reservations, greeting by hostess, bar staff to server and entertainment! Did I mention food? Prime rib and all fixings superb. Only complaint the baked French onion was really lacking the melted bubbly cheese..only a sprinkle..Love the old fashioned feel And will be back!
